Heritage and History Walk

Please join us this coming Sunday morning for a relaxing and informative walk around the south-east portion of Coochiemudlo Island. Suitable for all ages.

This tour will complete at the Rec Club, in time for the important fire ant presentation.

When: 8.30am Sunday 19 May

Start point: The rotunda near the ferry jetty on Coochiemudlo Island.

Is there a cost? No.

What to bring: Please wear good, comfortable walking shoes and a hat. Bring some water to sip along the way. You may also want some insect repellent. Bring your alert eyes and ears — there is much to see, hear, learn and enjoy.

After a brief introductory talk, David will guide us through Pioneer Park and alongside Main Beach to Norfolk Beach.
From Norfolk Beach we will walk up James Street and through to the Coochiemudlo Island Recreation Club with a few more points of interest along the way. 

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at the Rec Club.
