Heritage Walk with Local Legend David Paxton – The Last One Before He Leaves the Island!

Join us for a special Heritage Walk around the eastern side of Coochiemudlo Island, led by our very own local legend David Paxton. After many years sharing his incredible knowledge of the island’s history, this will be David’s final heritage walk before he moves off the island — so it’s a wonderful chance to walk, listen, and learn from him one more time.

The walk will cover around 2 kilometres and take approximately 2 hours, with plenty of fascinating stories along the way about the people, places, and moments that shaped Coochie.

Meeting Point: Rotunda at the Ferry
Start Time: 9:00am

At the end of the walk, we invite everyone to stay for tea, coffee, and biscuits, and enjoy a chat together.

Come along, bring a hat, bottle of water, comfortable walking shoes, and your curiosity — and help us give David a great turnout for his final walk.
