Telephones, Tools, Textiles and Toys!
Join us on a trip to the Redland Museum to see how the past communities of the Redlands lived and worked. Whatever your interest, there is something for you, whether it’s the Halliday Windmill - the last wooden self-regulating windmill in Australia, or a silk nightgown crafted from a World War II parachute. We will be taken on a tour led by one of the Museum’s experienced and entertaining guides, whose expert knowledge of the exhibits will provide extra insight into the collections.
A delicious Devonshire tea will be provided on arrival, and a BBQ lunch before we leave to return home.
Public transport timetables are inconvenient for this outing, so we will rely on partcipants to carpool.
